Virtual Visit in London!
Introduction
All of my life I wanted to go see the National Gallery in London but unfortunately I never got the chance. But my grandfather was fortunate to know someone that can hook him up so he was able to take me along. My experience there was great and I got to see some amazing work of art by several different artists even some that I didn’t know! I spent hours in there looking at different pieces of art and they were beautiful. Looking back however, there were 5 paintings that really left me in awe. One those 5 is called the “Madame de Pompadour Drouais”. I really liked how detailed it is. You can see the wrinkles in her dress and curtains. The fur on the looks like dog looks nice Samson and Delilah, The Arnolfini Portrait, The Fighting Temeraire and The Supper at Emmaus.
The ones I named are not apart of Romanticism but if you are interested in them them feel free to check out the ones I found the most interesting!
